St Louis Cathedral In New Orleans, Louisiana
The first church was built in 1718 and later replaced by a brick structure in 1725 that was destroyed during the great fire of 1788. The present building was started to be constructed in 1789, completed in 1794, and elevated as a cathedral in 1793. It is the oldest continuously operating cathedral in the United States. -Shubert
