Indianapolis Government Agencies
The city of Indianapolis has numerous government agencies carrying out sovereign and social welfare activities. Agencies taking care of law enforcement, local judiciary and tax laws implementation belong to the former category. Departments and agencies implementing building code enforcements, parks maintenance, infrastructure development, and public safety belong to the latter category. Being the capital of the State, the city plays hosts to not just local level agencies but County, State and Federal agencies as well.
