Minneapolis Government Agencies
Minneapolis has a unique governmental system especially because of the level of citizen’s participation which is seen in the government processes. Programs like Neighborhood Revitalization Program are a part of the government programs that is chiefly operated by the citizens. The city has three main governmental agencies which include Minneapolis City Council, Neighborhoods of Minneapolis and Law and government of Minneapolis. Minneapolis City Council is the chief governing body of the area. Some of the governmental departments functioning under it are Assessor’s office, city attorney, public works, health and family support and the police department.
