Cleveland Communities
Cleveland is one of the major cities of USA and the most populous in the state of Ohio. The city had financial difficulties in the past and suburbanization started which changed the face of the city in the late 1960s and 1970s. Gradually the infrastructure of Cleveland improved, economy diversified from the manufacturing sector to many other sectors and investment in the arts also increased over a period of time.
Downtown Cleveland which is centered around Public Square comprises of many diversified districts. The Financial District, Civic Center and the reputed Theater District all form an integral part of Downtown of Cleveland. The neighborhoods consist of industrial and office buildings, housing units as well as restaurants and bars. Cleveland is the home of many parks of which four of them are part of the countrywide Cleveland Metro parks system, the "Emerald Necklace". Suburbanization led to the formation of many wonderful parks, zoos ad gardens in the city. Several schools, universities, sporting arenas and cultural center bear witness to this phenomenon the city has experienced. Cleveland is also the home to variety of communities and people of various religions and races.
