Raleigh Hospitals and Medical Facilities
Raleigh is one of the cities of the Research Triangle in North Carolina. Therefore, this is considered to be one of the technologically advanced cities in the Untied States. One of the major streams on which R & D focuses on is biotechnology. Raleigh is home to the first African American Medical College called Leonard Medical College (Leonard Medical Center) to provide a four year medical course in 1881.
Raleigh has been and is still known for its state-of-the-art healthcare services. There are so many hospitals and health care centers in and around the city (non profit organizations, private and government) ranging from those that provide basic elementary services to the ones that provide high-end specialty services.
