Orlando Demographics and Statistics
Orlando is a major city in central Florida and is also the seat of Orange County Florida. It is the third largest metropolitan area after Tampa and Miami, with a population of 238,300. According to the 2010 census, the White’s make up a majority of the population at 57.6 percent, followed by African Americans at 28 percent.
It has a very unique culture with people from many different racial backgrounds and origins living and doing business in the same city. The place also has attracted a large number of immigrants. By 2035, demographers believe that Florida will have a Hispanic majority in terms of population.
