Orlando is a city that lives up to its past, with its rich cultural heritage and magnificent lifestyle. The city has a beautiful architecture and has numerous amusement parks that bring people from everywhere to the city. The tourism to the city has been increasing each year and today makes a major contribution to the city’s economy. The major attractions which pull maximum crowd every year, both international and local are mainly the Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and the Sea World Orlando. Of all these places Walt Disney World resort is the most popular. With places like the Magic Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Wet ‘n Wild water park and the Discovery Cove etc, Orlando caters to people of all ages.  

Apart from these tourist places, the rich entertainment and performing arts culture also appeals to tourists. It is the home to some of the best Latino music, hard rock and broadway theaters etc. Every spring the city hosts the Orlando International Fringe Theater Festival, drawing crowds from over the world. In 2007 Orlando even hosted the World Ballet Competition.
